Interior design of an elegant restaurant in Pasadena, California

Designed by the SF Jones Architects practice in 2015, the Del Frisco’s Grille Pasadena is an elegant restaurant located in Pasadena, California which was designed with the aim of transforming the ground floor of an office space on Lake Avenue, LA County.

Spreading over a surface of 6500 square feet, the restaurant has a capacity of 175 seats with three seating options that range from upholstered booths along the exhibition kitchen to comfortable booths made with tufted fabrics and in the center several metal screens add a more intimate and private ambiance to the red leather booths.
The private patio can seat up to twenty persons and a curtain enclosure allows it to be integrated with the rest of the restaurant at ease. The interior begins with the display of wine racks at the entrance and glass fixtures set in a linear pattern to add a dynamic tone to the space, leading to the bar and two communal tables equipped with TVs. The patio is covered and was clad in the same stone as the façade as well as concrete paver tiles to make it seem as a truly outdoor retreat.
